Welcome to the Wilderness Service Unit Web Site! Our Service Unit meets at Meeker Middle School in Renton, WA. We meet the first Wednesday of every month at 6:45-8pm in the Library. The Wilderness Service Unit is a group of Girl Scout Leaders and Volunteers supporting troops in the Renton and Kent School Districts. We provide information, training, events and activities for local troops in our area.
Some of the Service Unit activities provided are Twilight Camp, Thinking Day, Cookie Sales, Fall Product Sales, and any other activities volunteers coordinate for Girl Scouts in our Service Unit. We also help place girls in open troops, and help assist new troops get started.
