Labor Day Weekend Hike &Cookout!
Do you have a child who likes to have fun, explore new things,and enjoys the outdoors? Then you will want to join Cub Scout Pack 1946!
What: Meet and Greet at Firehook. Coffee is on us for the parent and juice forthe kids! We will hike a loop trail fromnearby Quebec street trail into Rock Creek to Pierce Mill where we will have asmall cookout and finally we will complete the hike taking the Melvin Hazentrail back to Connecticut Ave.
Who: Children in Kindergarten through 5thgrade. Please feel free to invite anyonewho may be interested in joining.
When: Saturday, August the 31st. If you are in town!!!
Where: Meet and Greet at the Firehook Bakery & Coffeehouse at 3411 Connecticut Ave NW, Washington, DC 2008 followed by ourhike, small cookout and completion of our hike to our vehicles.
Parking: Thereis street parking in the neighborhood.Should you prefer to park in a parking lot, there is Sams Park and Shoplot that does require payment however if you validate your ticket at Target it will reduce your cost a 1 hour fee.
